In September and October, 2015, we took a 3 week African safari and saw marvelous views of big (and little) game, and many beautiful birds. Check below for our many videos of these wonderful animals.
One of the high points of our safari was the day we saw a herd of elephants leaving their feeding grounds for the day, but one little baby had been left behind as they left. When they realized they were missing a baby, the matriarch leader and the baby's mother (probably) stopped and trumpeted at him to tell him to catch back up with the herd.

Giraffes: We saw many of these wonderful and graceful animals during out trip. Some places had the Masai Giraffes and other places has Rothschild's Giraffes. Masai Giraffes are a little darker and Rothschild's Giraffes have the wonderful white stockings. Tina got an opportunity to kiss a Rothschild's Giraffe in Kenya.
After that Giraffe kissed Tina, he ran down to the river screaming "Bleah!, I kissed a girl!" and he rinsed his mouth off in the water for a long time.

We saw these strangely beautiful and artistic tracks outside our tent at the Whistling Thorn
tented camp near Tarangire National Park in Tanzania.
Then the next night we saw a big black millipede in our bathroom
when we needed to use it at midnight.
We think the mystery of the artistic tracks may be solved.
